The stabilometric assessment of the skier with TecnoBody technology | Scienza & Sport

In the issue of Scienza & Sport October/December 2020 the TecnoBody technology contained in the ProKin 252 system is the protagonist of an in-depth study with tests carried out at the Move Different Center in Vicenza.

Walter Stacco, Lecturer in Exercise and Sports Sciences and methodologist at the Regional School of Sport of CONI Lombardia, illustrates an innovative approach for a pilot study on stabilometry with ski boots in professional skiers.

The results of this study are surprising and in particular it can be seen that, despite the ankle being limited in its main and accessory movements, balance is better maintained by wearing the ski boot, even over 50%.
