TecnoBody and the Italian Gymnastics Federation: a new partnership dedicated to movement

Technology, research and sporting expertise come together to support athletes’ functional assessment, training and recovery. TecnoBody becomes an Official FGI Partner for biomedical movement analysis systems.

In gymnastics, every movement results from a complex balance of strength, control, coordination and precision. Understanding these components and how they evolve means providing professionals with valuable tools to support athletes throughout their sporting journey.

This shared vision is the foundation of the new partnership between TecnoBody and the Italian Gymnastics Federation: a collaboration that brings together the experience of the Federation’s coaches and medical staff with our expertise in developing technologies for movement analysis, functional assessment and training.

Data and technology supporting sporting expertise

For over thirty years, we have worked to make movement measurable and turn data into meaningful insights for rehabilitation and sports performance professionals. This approach combines medical, engineering and movement science expertise through the research and development of increasingly advanced systems.

Joining the Federation as an Official FGI Partner for biomedical movement analysis systems brings this experience to Italian gymnastics. Our shared goal is to support professionals in their daily work with tools that provide deeper insights into athletes’ motor abilities and assist with training, injury prevention and recovery programmes.

Objective assessment thus becomes a valuable resource to complement the observation of sporting movements, track progress over time and provide additional insights to inform staff decisions.

The collaboration at the International Gymnastics Center in Brescia

One of the key hubs for the partnership will be the International Gymnastics Center in Brescia, the Federation’s centre for elite women’s artistic gymnastics. The centre will feature TecnoBody systems for movement analysis, functional assessment and training. The planned technologies include D-Wall Elite, WalkerView, ProKin and Homing Studio, which will support staff through assessments of athletes’ motor abilities and tools designed for training and recovery.

An environment where technology and professional expertise can work together, placing athletes and their needs at the heart of the process.

A shared commitment to the future of gymnastics

For TecnoBody, this partnership represents an opportunity to bring movement research into an elite sporting environment and exchange knowledge with those who work every day to refine movement quality and performance. Together with the Italian Gymnastics Federation, we are embarking on a journey that brings sport, science and innovation closer together, with a common goal: to equip athletes and professionals with the tools and knowledge to unlock and develop the potential of movement.
